• Facades

  'Facades', the new play set in the Ukraine at the time of Catherine the Great, will be opening at the new South Bank theatre, The Greater London Theatre, on 1 July.
  
  The play will transfer from The Riverside Studios.
  This production will get a lot of media attention by reason of it being the first run at this new London South Bank theatre.
  
  We would like to make this prodution known to the Ukrainian community in London, and would like to offer London based Ukrainian companies the oppurtunity to benefit from the media attention that this production will generate.

• Live performance

  The Ukrainians play music which is a mix of contemporary Western and traditional Ukrainian styles, reflecting the cultural and ethnic backgrounds of its members. The group uses electric guitars, mandolins, accordions, violin, electric bass guitar and drums - and sings in Ukrainian.
  
  The group was formed in the early 1990s in the UK and soon established itself as the only major exponent of a hybrid of traditional Ukrainian folk and Western rock music.
