  • Visit by the Swedish ship Götheborg
    As part of the Linnaeus tercentenary celebrations in the UK, a replica of the Swedish ship Götheborg will visit London and the West India Docks. The original ship sank in 1745 and the full scale replica was launched in 2003. The ship has since been visiting many places around the world. An exhibition produced by the Maritime Museum in Gothenburg and the Swedish Institute will be accompanying the ship, showcasing Sweden, the city of Gothenburg and the Götheborg project.
