• Exhibition – Paint Over

  Works by the Danish art group, Paint Over, are on view at the Danish Cultural Institute in Edinburgh this spring. The four members of Paint Over are all graduates from The Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen. The group works with the concept of fluent painting, replacing the traditional two-dimensional space with the spacious, the sculptural and the installation. Paint Over focuses on the use of digital media and computer animation instead of brush and paint. The works represent a continuously reflective outlook on the painting, its history and its context. • Danish jazz musicians at the Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho.

  Copenhagen born bass player Chris Minh Doky performs with three other Danish jazz musicians at the Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho. Doky is a world class musician and an accomplished composer and producer. He lives in New York, but has maintained close ties with his native Denmark where he was born in 1969. Chris Minh Doky has released seven solo albums, including the highly praised Cinematique and the recent electronica-jazz album The Nomad Diaries.
